Crime Stopper Security & Facility Services is an ex-servicemen enterprise with ISO 9001:2015 certification, serving customers in various sectors and industries since 2013. Crime Stopper is founded by Mr. K K Poonacha an ex-serviceman, who served Indian armed forces for a tenure of 19 years from 1987 to 2006.
With his vision, extensive knowledge & vast experience of serving the armed forces, we’ve inculcated a well disciplined and professional workforce to offer you the exceptional services in the field of security and facility management services. Managing Director
Major General VN Prasad is our senior advisor and mentor. His extensive educational background in the field of defence management and security studies complimented by his vast experience in the Indian Armed Force for more than three decades is a great boost for the successful planning and execution of all our projects.
Graduate of Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, College of Defence Management, Secunderabad and the National Defence College, New Delhi. General holds a MPhil in strategic and Security studies and Masters Degree in Management Studies and Defence Studies. He is also a Fellow of the Asia Pacific Centre for Security Studies, Honolulu, USA.
Having been granted commission into the 6th Battalion Parachute Special Forces of Indian Army by the President of India in 1978, VN Prasad has served the nation for nearly 36 years and rose to the coveted rank of Major General. In his Military Career, he had seen active service in various operational theatres along the Line of Control in Jammu & Kashmir, International Border in Punjab and Line of Actual Control on Sino- Indian Border. He has vast experience in Counter Terrorism and Special Operations and has carried out joint training with US Special Operations Forces. For his distinguished service he was awarded the Sena Medal and Vishisht Seva Medal by the President of India.
Major General PM Cariappa is our pillar of strength and our guiding light in the field of staff management, staff recruitment and staff training. Close to four decades of his experience in serving Indian armed forces has proven as our greatest advantage in building a strong team of professional & well disciplined staff.
An alumni of National Defence Academy, Defence Services Staff College Wellington and the prestigious National Defence College, New Delhi. The General is a post graduate. He studied MTech in Communication & Radar Engg from IIT Delhi and M Phil in Defence& Strategic Studies from NDC.
General has held various Command, Staff and Instructional appointments in his tenure spanning over 37 yrs. The General has been an instructor at Officers Training Academy, Chennai and Military College of Tele-Communication Engg and has been on deputation as a Military Observer with the United Nations Assistance Mission in Rwanda, East Africa. He commanded an Electronic Warfare Battalion in J&K and was awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal for his distinguished service during operation Vijay.
KK Poonacha is the founder and managing director of Crime Stopper Security & Facility Services. He is an ex servicemen who served Indian armed forces for almost 19 years from 1988 to 2007. With his rich experience & knowledge of serving armed forces has helped him in inculcating a well disciplined and professional work force.
KK Poonacha is a renown Indian national hockey player who represented India in 1994 Sydney Hockey world cup, 1996 Atlanta Olympics etc. He also served Indian national juniors team as the head coach and has served Oman national men’s team coach.
After taking over as the head of sales and marketing at Crime Stopper, he is constantly adding value to the company in revamping, modernizing and developing it as one of the leading security & facility service provider in the region. An Alumni of St. Aloysius college Mangalore, he did his bachelor of business management studies in Mangalore university.
Prior to joining Crime stopper he worked for more than two decades in the field of sales and marketing roles at Malcons Industrial mining tools co, Mangalore. Mariam International group of hotels Manama, Bahrain. Al Nabooda Automobiles Dubai, UAE at Volkswagen dealership under the brand umbrella of AVME (Audi Volkswagen Middle East).
